Bad News, Good News…

Ever wonder why so much of our news today is so depressing and negative?

Could it be beacuse because the world is not getting better, but only getting worse? Have you ever asked yourself why?

Originally, God created this world a perfect and beautiful place. There was no sickness and disease, no poverty or war; man was intended to live a long peaceful life.
So What happened?
Why is this world so full of pain, violence and evil?
The first book of the Bible (Genesis) explains it all. Sin entered the world through man’s disobedience and since that time we have been on a steady decline, because sin always has negative consequences.
Our news is merely a reflection of those consequences manifesting in this world in which we live.

Have you had enough Bad News?
Do you want to hear some Good News?

God in His love provided a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. That sacrifice was His only Son, Jesus Christ who came to bear the eternal consequence of our sin which is death. He bore our sins upon the cross and paid the price so that we can live forever with Him.
” For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life” John 3:16

Now that’s Good News!

But there is more. How about a place called Heaven, where there will be no more death, sickness, sorrow or pain. Where evey tear will be dried, where no one is lonely or afraid. A place of perfect love and acceptance, in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A place so wonderful it is beyond our imagination!

Make the choice today, to turn back to God by receiving His Son as your own sacrifice for your sins. You won’t be sorry, it truly is Good News!
